The role of Warehouse Technology and Operations Manager is not just a position, but a calling to uphold and elevate this exceptional standard of operational excellence.

As our Warehouse Technology and Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the entire range of warehouse activities, including receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing.

In addition, you'll leverage your expertise in ERP and warehouse management systems to ensure seamless operations and optimized inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the lead technical expert on warehouse systems such as CRM, IMS, inventory tracking systems, and hardware and software solutions used in warehouse operations.

Ensure these systems are well-integrated and maintained to support our operational efficiency.

  • Utilize data to generate actionable insights on operational metrics and KPIs, including order processing times, inventory levels, and warehouse capacity utilization.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to quality standards and operational procedures.
  • Plan labor allocation, manage inventory, and oversee logistics to optimize daily operations.
  • Create a safe work environment by enforcing safety standards and compliance with legal regulations.
  • Regularly evaluate team performance against operational KPIs and devise strategies to improve any identified gaps.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency and precision in warehouse operations.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to review productivity, safety, and employee development plans.
  • Manage logistics to ensure timely delivery of products to customers and internal facilities.
  • Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to optimize warehouse supply costs.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and manage IT issues to ensure uninterrupted warehouse operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in operations and warehouse management.
  • Proficiency in Shipping, Receiving, Warehouse, and Material Handling operations.
  • Expertise in warehouse operating systems and data analysis.
  • Experience in a KPI-driven, total quality environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Proven track record of leading a team of 15 members.
  • Familiarity with employment laws.
  • IT skills to troubleshoot computer / IT issues.
  • Mechanical aptitude for handling facility maintenance matters.
  • Knowledge of OSHA warehouse standards.
